MailBee.NET Security enables basic SSL support for MailBee.NET SMTP, POP3 and IMAP components (at no additional cost) and provides extended SSL and S/MIME capabilities (MailBee.NET Security license required). Written in 100% managed C# code, MailBee.NET Security can be used in desktop, console and ASP.NET applications developed in C#/VB.NET/etc.

The key features of the component:
- SSL (TLS) connections with mail servers;
- supports connections to dedicated SSL ports and to regular ports (STARTTLS);
- client and server certificates;
- validation of the server certificate;
- certificate and certificate store management (reading from or saving into a file, registry, memory, etc);
- enumerating and finding certificates in certificate stores;
- supports private certificates and PFX format;
- digitalsignatures;
- S/MIME features: sign, verify, encrypt, decrypt messages;
- security algorithms, CryptoServiceProviders, etc;
- impersonation;
- integration with Smtp, Pop3, Imap and MailMessage components of MailBee.NET Objects library;
- error handling features;
- documentation is available in CHM,VS.NET 2003, and VS.NET 2005 formats;
- Developer licenses permit royalty-free distribution.
