NetOptima Block P2P can detect and throttle P2P software based on following protocols eDonkey, eMule, Kademlia, KaZaA, FastTrack, Soulseek, Gnutella, Direct Connect, Bitorrent, extended BT.

Blocks pornography
- NetOptima filters all pornographic content whether it is websites, emails, blogs or community/networking websites.
- NetOptima, while filtering pornography, allows content in news and education.
